WS2 Flash Codes

1 .Flash/Blink Codes
1.1 Find a engine/vehicle that you have the workshop manual with the correct procedure and codes to diagnose the flash codes
1.2 Have your tutor create a fault in the EFI system
1.3 Using the workshop manual follow the procedure to extract the codes explain briefly is the procedure?

1.                 24   2   31   3   41
we found these codes Tobe faulty in this exercise and we connect a jumper wire across short cut TE1 and E1 so the flashing light was 2,4,3,1 and 4,1 there fore these codes are 24,31 and 41 and these codes matches the codes on the engine manual 41 TPS, 31 vacuum sensor circuit and 24 IAT.

2  . Trouble Codes or Fault Codes
2.1 Find where the Codes are listed
2.2 Record any codes, and what system and condition they describe in the chart below (Example:might be code number 21 for Throttle position sensor, signal voltage too low)

Code Number        System affected              Condition described
   24                             IAT                                Loose connection
   31                             VS Circuit                      Loose connection
   41                             TPS                                Loose connection

3 . Visual Inspection to find fault
3.1 Do a visual inspection under the bonnet to find where the problem is. Use information from the code to                                                                            know where to look for the problem and what type of problem to look for.
3.2 Describe the problem (s) you found ?
Poor connections, loose plugs in all these sensors.

4 . Repair fault
     4. 1 Plug back in the connector, or repair problem found Describe what you did?
Plugs loose and put these back in and has toped flashing.

5 . Clear Codes
Describe what you did to clear the codes?
I have removed the ECU fuse in the fuse box for 10 seconds and cleaned the codes.

6 . Recheck for codes and record in system now?
Recheck for codes and fond 1,1,1,1 flashing continually it means these flashing are normal.

7 . How could the faults found affect the engine performance?
These faults will affect the engine performance the engine will run aether  rich or lean it,s means the fault air ratio has been affected and the result was black smoke high HC or unburned fuel .

8 . what other tests you should be doing once you have found the fault codes?
We would test them for wire hares voltage drop test for earth or grounding each component
